Maggie Matela studied Industrial Design at Pratt Institute. With experience ranging from product design to event coordination, she approaches each project looking to achieve harmony between objects. A natural problem solver, an avid collector, and a lover of sandwiches, her philosophy is that food is design you can share with everyone. Anyone can appreciate the balance of flavor and texture in a well thought out dish. Determining everything from decor to branding, kitchen flow to food presentation, the deli defines an exciting challenge. Trained in human centered design, she seeks to create a space that is both contemporary and inviting.
